print screening?

i took screen shot and crtl v on msn chat and it was blank and what recording device can you use while playing fable at the same time?

Re: print screening?

If you're playing Fable: TLC on PC then your best bet for recording gameplay is FRAPS. You'll need plenty of fast RAM, a speedy hard drive and a multi-core CPU to be able to record gameplay with an acceptable frames per second, though.

If you're playing Fable: TLC on 360 then two capture card devices that come recommended are:

1. Hauppauge HD PVR
2. Dazzle Platinum
3. Black Magic Intensity Pro

I'm not up on console capture cards though.

Re: print screening?

If you are interested into a good quality of your screenshots, I'd suggest to set your game settings at any of the High Definition resolution: 720p (1280x720) and 1080p(1920x1080) Keep in mind to also change the game settings, if you aim to the best thing possible.

Consider to use a photo-editing software in order to cut down or rescale your screenshot depending on where you need to use it.

Re: print screening?

If you want to record Fable gameplay on the PC, then you should get Fraps, either from one of your friends or buying it, Fraps is one of the bast PC game recorders, HD quality and does not slow down your game. (Depends on your PC specs). Then if you are going to render out the video and say it does not have a good quality, then it means you screwed up the settings of the rendering program. I suggest you get Windows Live Movie maker, LIVE not the old version, and use the 720p or 1080p pre-set settings from it. Also fraps has a trial version which you get for free, and if you are looking to make the videos for youtube, the switch your game resolution to 1280x720 to make it widescreen and to remove the black bars around the video, trust me, its going to be a lot more nicer for your audience. Also if you do not want to add commentary just remove the microphone option from Fraps.
