Problem with Knothole Island DLC

I just downloaded the DLC and I got some trouble. The trouble is that I had just finished the first shrine and I think my quest objective was: ''return to the cheftain''. So I went to the chieftain and he said some things and then he left.
But now my quest objective haven't changed and I have no breadcrumb trail.

What should I do?

Also I can't find the chieftain.

go to bowerstone market and go back.

You have to do this after every shrine.

Well I did but nothing changed.

um, could be a bug. Does he tell you to go and explore the shops and stuff?

If so, try doing it, go off and do another quest in albion and go back. It worked for me, just exiting and going back though

No if I look at the quest it says that Knothole Glade is still freezing. And I don't know where the chieftain is.

oh, he should be where he normally is , unless your game is bugged.

hey i have the same problem. I went to all the shops, went back to Knothole Island and still no Chieftain!!!! did anyone figure this out yet???

Dont know if anyone figured it out yet but its been talked about quite alot on the Lionhead forums, they might have found the cause/fix for it there if you do a search... will try and find the main thread myself and edit with a link.

One thing is you have to have completed a certain amount of the main story line to progress further..
Second and not really helpful but its what one of the developers posted...

doh just closed the tab with the link but theres not much there and pleanty of threads with the same issue so its not hard to track down.

Well, it also depends on how far into the game you have gotten. If you have beaten the game, you should be able to do all three after leaving after each completed quest. If you have not beaten the game, I would suggest you do before doing the DLC.

I had this problem, I finished the shrine. Left knothole island and slept for 7 days. Then came back and it was fixed

I got sidetracked looking for books with my dog after doing the first shrine and didn't go back to the chieftain. Somehow I got the next quest as well, first still showing as available. I can't find the guy, no breadcrumbs and I have left repeatedly coming back to the same no chieftain.

If there is a fix or workaround, I'd love to know as I am stuck in rainy Knothole.

Someone told me that (since I am doing this before finishing main game - which could be part of the issue) that it would open up along with 3rd quest after I went to see Reaver.
