Problem with latest patch?

So a friend of mine just downloaded the latest patch and is having a problem backing out of his map when he zooms in on a location.... Is anyone else having this problem?

I got the patch and am not seeing any (new) problems.

i had this issue before the patch...perhaps it wasn't fixed yet?
