Problems in combat

For some strange reason, I have been unable to roll out in combat. The hero is constantly "locking on" targets and going around them when I move, and there is no way I can get him/her to roll for dodging, making combat tricky and annoying. I haven't been able to find a thread on internet talking about this problem

Another thing, I don't know if it is somehow related, every kill I do counts as "Wizard's revenge", no matter the weapon I use

Wizards Revenge is associated with Will as far as I know as there is an achievement tied to it, dont know why this may prevent you rolling though seems you are stuck in spell mode.

The thing is, I can use melee weapons or guns but every kill is counted as Wizard's Revenge. Still can't find a connection between that and the not rolling
