Program to make custom weapon?

Umm what program do you guys use to make your own sword. Like I seen pictures of diffrent swords exp KEYSWORD. SO I want to know how to do it and what program to use thx.

Yea, blender is a good 3D program, and also free. You can download it here: http://www.blender.org/ (They have a 500 server error right now...).

And here's a good tutorial that will take you from complete noob to making pretty advanced stuff.

you need 3ds max to get it into the game though

From a store. And it costs alot.

Too much. But you can probably find the 30 day trial of it from Google.

And if you are a modelling genius, you might be able to learn the program in 20 days and do all the stuff you want in 10 days. But that`s a 1% chance. Unless you`ve done modelling before.
Or unless you`re not as bad at learning modeling as I am.

But, if you do all your weapons in Blender first and use 3dsMax just to convert, you`ll be fine.

BAHHH HL modeling is much easier
