:lol: right... where did you hear that? The PS3 is going to be around for 10 years yet. They are discontinuing the older models of it and only creating ones with the biggest hard drives as standard if thats what you mean.

There is speculation that the 80GB Model will receive a price cut similar to the 60GB, namely $100.

Would be a start, any price cut would be welcomed by many. Though i still wouldnt buy one anytime soon with lack of games.

Well hes grossly misinformed then as Sony heads have said the PS3 will carry them for the next 10 years.

Also they recently said in an interview that we wont see anything test its power for another 4-6 years so them discontinuing it next year is crazy talk :lol:.
