Pub games just around the corner!!!

Okay well it's the 26th today (in Australia) and it's only another 5 days till august so what i want to know is who is excited about the pub games?!

luckily for me i've got 800 microsoft points up my sleeve as well as the fact that i've pre-ordered the limited Edition of fable 2 which gets me a code.

Also is anyone not getting it because of not having Live or not enough Points?

Well, when i pre-ordered my game at EB they didn't know anything about the pub games, but if worst comes to worst i'll just go buy some MS points if i don't have enough at the time Can you confirm that we get the pub games free if we pre-ordered in Aus? hopefully Eb will ring and say "oh guess what, you get free pub games" but yeah

Well when i asked at my local EB (Castle Hill) about the Pre-orders and the whole netting me a code for The pub games he looked at me wierd and said "uhhhhhh Yeah it does" but he didn't look too sure of himself

so you might have to check it out but i already planned ahead and got a 1500 microsoft points card from Jb-Hi-Fi (much cheaper than EB) so just in case and if we do get a code i'm gonna give it to my mate

Ah k, yeah i hate talking to the inexperienced staff who look at you and are thinking "what's fable 2? o.0* but yeah, time will tell.

Yeah totally agree with you. and TJ why don't you just buy a 1 month subscription and some Microsoft Points? that's all you need really.

xbox live help, its on the top 15 right now, i just barely created it.

Many Limited Edition games these days give u a free sample of Xbox live Gold etc.

Well tbh its because i want to experience the game without an advantage and play out the story properly with out being mega rich

I totally agree with you there i'm only doing it to get the special items that you can only get with the pub games

I'm waiting for the LE, to be released, then I'll have them. I want to work my way up, first play through.

im just hopeing that the LE will have the pub games and allow you to get the items anyway. im also hopeing that FYE will get with the friggin program and allow me to reserve the LE..... its my fav store, and they always have the latest stuff, so why do they know nothing about the LE??????

I'm ordering mine from Best Buy. They have the best prices.

i think it is only 70 because it isn't participating in the pub game offer that is worth 10 dollars, i got mine from amazon and it came with the pub games that will be emailed out on august 15th so if you dont get them by around august 15th in an email you might have to just buy them

Don't worry TJ put those thoughts to rest PM stated that the pub games would be included with both Fable 2, and Fable 2 Limited Edition that is with the game disk so i wouldn't worry about it.

The only reason i want to get the pub games early is so i can get those items and then not have to waste my time playing the pub games when i have Fable 2.

Cause i mean really if right now you had a choice to play either the Pub games or Fable 2 (normal or limited Ed.) Today which would you choose?

I personally would destroy the Pub games and play Fable 2 rather than waste my time on Mini-games.

amazon in the uk still hasn't updated their fable 2, it's still slated to come out 30th of november and theirs no mention of the limited edition or the pub games useless!
