I found the puny carrots from the produce trader in Oakfield, hope this helps xxx

I found a new way to get puny carrots recently although would need someone else to check if this works or not...

Go to Fairfax Gardens grab a travelling food trader from there if there is one with "Follow" expression (yes he will only have 3* food and above now), go to Bowerstone Market (well thats where one of my homes is) sleep in your bed and when you awake he will have 2* food including crunchy chicks and puny carrots... that is to say he will be selling those items... but not sure if its just a glitch in my game so if it doesnt work sorry.
