Purity and Corruption...

So I want to be a pure good character in Fable 2. I was watching some videos last night and there was mention of example questions for a purity/corruption scale having things such as "Have you ever kissed someone?" I assume that saying no would be pure (priests can't marry, etc). However, does this mean if I want to be a good character with a wife and kids I have to be hunched over and ugly? Sorry if I'm missing something obvious. I never did play the first Fable.

Re: Purity and Corruption...

first of all, not having ever played the first fable makes you fully corrupted and makes your toes smell slightly like penut butter. secondly, as far as i know, having a wife and kids MIGHT affect your corruption, (but i seriously dought it) but if it does it wouldnt be by much, so when your character was older there would be little to no hunching and uglyness. the first fable delt mostly in a persentage like system, ie you have no corruption, then you kiss someone and you have 1% corruption, wich basicly does nothing.

Re: Purity and Corruption...

Getting married and having kids, could make you corrupt? That doesn't make sense, to me. If that is the case, I'm staying single.

Re: Purity and Corruption...

i really dont think it does, he was just using that as an example. the corruption is more like being selfish and mean i think. pure good = good+generosity/sacrifice corrupt good = good+selfish pure evil = i hav no idea how that would work corrupt evil = evil+selfish/mean

LOL, yeah it all sounds very confusing.:P I'm really going to have to play it slow, and learn through trial and error.

Re: Purity and Corruption...

I think purity/corruption has to do with wealth, the richer you are, the more likely you have been selfish. You will start to become corrupt. You might look like Mr Burns, or Jafar from Aladdin, or Jafar when he is an old crooked man.

Re: Purity and Corruption...

just pla like you did in the first fable you should be fine...i am more concerned about the magic side effects....

Re: Purity and Corruption...

i just save it before i do it and just load it if it is bad

Re: Purity and Corruption...

so the allignment/ character morphs will be based on what exactly? is it JUST purity/ corruption + good/ evil, because i read somewhere that it also included kindness/ cruelty?

Re: Purity and Corruption...

the Purity and Corruption works in a way,
for example you
could be rich but your acutly a nice person,
a noble night who is not realy a people-person,
and evil cut throte that is a ladys man,
also you can get names like in fable (chicken chaser)
but in fable2 there are more,
like for being a great blacksmith youl be called things like master forger

i think it's both because in a recent interview i read it said that it was both purity/corruption and kindness/cruelty.

Re: Purity and Corruption...

also you have to earn names before you can buy them
