I was wondering about the requirement for weapon upgrade Shade (kill 400 shadow creatures), does the shadow creatures mentioned only include the ones that are actually shadows, or does it include the big sentinels and the other enemies found in that area too? I just got this weapon and spent a little while killing them all but it doesn't seem to have gone up but I'm thinking that could just be because I didn't kill too many and it needs 400 in total, requiring a lot of kills to make any kind of impression on the progress bar. Thanks in advance for any help given!

Shadow killing requirement includes the dark minions and the sentinels.

A few circuits of shifting sands and veiled path will get you the requirement pretty quickly.

as soon as you get the sentinel to activate the shadows from the ground, i just kept running back and fourth past the sentinel and over a sand dune to get shadows to follow me and keep sentinel at a distance. leveled up jacks hammer almost in no time.
