the spire is around the middle of the game
but ur daughter grows from a baby in about 30 mins of game play ;d so u can just leave the game running in a town or go do quests u have on hand

I read somewhere else that the spire quest had to be completed for her to become a child. I have played far more than 30mins of game play and she is still a baby... is there something else I have to do?

yah i heard that if ur already married before u go to the spire and u have a child then when u return from the spire ur child will be at around 10years old.
