A few question on how you feel about fable 2 so far


1)Is fable 2 what you expected? for me its a no...... its a hell of a lot better



2) By whats been showen so far, what are the good points of Fable 2?
for me it has to be the combat i mean the slow mo is just amazing.


3) " " " " " what are the bad points? for me its the wait. I am very impatient and i hate being told nothing for a long time and its coming out next year.

To be honest they are implementing and fine tuning more features than i thought they would and the combat is looking ten times what i expected.

2) By whats been showen so far, what are the good points of Fable 2?

Definately the combat, the overall scale of the game being much larger, more things to do/buy, the dog as your mini map etc and many many more things.

3) " " " " " what are the bad points?

Collision detection in demos still needs lots of work (im clutching at straws for bad points).

4) your rating of the game so far:

Couldnt say until ive seen more features and heard more details.

Yes it is, and maybe even more than i expected.

I like the dog, combat and the idea of firearms.

The waiting is #1... atleast i im going to have halo3 to play around with...

Yes, it's exactly what I expected.

By whats been shown so far:

2) What are the good points of Fable 2?
How bit the world is supposed to be. The Lack of Cut scenes and loading time. The combat and dog.

3) What are the bad points?
How hush - hush the project is. I know Peter doesn't want to give away to much, or make the same mistakes he did with Fable. But I wish there was more information about everything.

4) Your rating of the game so far:
10. I'm loving everything I see. But I'll be able to make a better judgment one more information is released.

1. I've kept my expectation pretty low. Mostly I expect to enjoy being back in Albion. The Combat has exceeded my expectations
2. The dog is going to be pretty cool The "You can buy everything" and the no cut scenes and the combat though I've not seen all of that
3. The graphics from the GDC were understandable bad They are much improved but still need work. MUST GET HDTV :wacko: Plus the lack of news prior to E3
4. Since most of what I think of the game is in my imagination I'll give it an 11

1. It's paradoxical, my expectations were that my expectations would be raised too high by big claims, so in response I haven't been getting my expectations up. Saying that, it's hard to remain cynical with some of point being brought up, and some of the videos of demo play. It's definately starting to break down my cynicism barrier.

2. I think both the 'dog feature' and the improved combat system look amazing, and I'm curious to see how the improved family system will work.

3. Too much vague hype and not enough actual outlined fact.

4. I'd give what I've seen so far 8 out of 10. Fable's graphics really pushed the X-Box, whereas I'd have to say that Fable 2's beta graphics don't look like they are pushing the 360, but all this may change by final release.

Like many others, I have not had high expectations just so I don't hype the game up in my head to something that it's not. I have also purposefully read and watched as little as possible regarding the game so that I'm more surprised and excited when it does come out.

I'm pretty bowled over by the artwork, to be honest. Combat doesn't do much for me no matter what the game is, so whilst it looks impressive, it isn't what grabs me so much as the environment.

Well, it is taking a LONG time to be ready so that annoys me but at the same time hopefully it means that more ideas and concepts can be implemented to create an incredible new game that pushes some boundaries and pioneers even more innovative gameplay. On the downside of that, you'll have those who build it up to be something that isn't even technologically feasible and then come crashing down when their post-next-gen ideas don't appear in the game.

Can't rate it as to do that I would need to experience the end product ^_^

It's hard to say whats wrong. They havent released that many gameplay trailers after all...

The immense variations in combat, the killer stabs, the landscapes, free roam, and the dynamic dog.

I agree with Seph. But I also think the secrecy will make so i'll really be surprised how the game is.

1. Fable 2 looks great to me and i like all the things PM has confirmed, especially changing world and dog... only thing im somewhat worried about is the combat controls... they look awesome and i hope to use them how PM intended but i think im going to end up just button mashing... the controls for fable 2 and assassins creed seem very different and change can be scary.

3. in addition to combat being a worry im not enjoying the wait especially now that PM has said its going to be lat 08... that being said im happy to wait for such a great game that im sure fable 2 will be

4. 9.9 out of 10 its perfect to me with the exception that the combat seems complicated and like soul calibur where u have a list of button combos and all you do is memorize the combinations... but im sure it wont be that bad

Yeah! After playing Fable (the orginal) for like the 3rd time, I had a list of everything I wish they could put in the next one...man, did they get it right. That dog is gonna make me cry, 20 bucks.

-Combat = Amazing 1 hit button mashing!
-"Side kick" no command system (AKA: Amazin' AI)
-A game being able to pull at someone's heart stings... v_v doggy...come back...please
