Quick Question

Been ages since I played anything really, go bored decided to play some skyrim for my pc, updated my gpu drivers and downloaded latest steam client update, but when I try to play skyrim I get "skyrim unavailable please try again later"
Is this just me and some setting that's gone a wall or is their some sort of route-en maintenance ?

Mine is working just fine for right now.

Can you take a screenshot of the issue? Might be getting the same error I would get, sometimes when I boot up I get a sync failure with Skyrim and the steam cloud, but tends to go away and works again after multiple tries.

Odd. Try this instead:

Go to your install directory where Skyrim is.

(32-bit system) "C:/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Skyrim"

or

(64-bit system) "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Skyrim"

Then double click on the executable "TESV.exe", and launch the game that way instead. Hope that helps.

Thanks for your assistance but before you suggested that i had followed http://www.ehow.co.uk/how_8431414_verify-cache-steam.html to verify the cache and it worked! got worried for a minute lol
