Ok so this is an Estonian singer Kerli. I became curious after reading some comments on Youtube. Just how heavy is her accent? Does it bother you? Is it actually kinda cool/awesome/fun? Is it noticeable right away? They say the thing that stands out the most is that she pronounces everything very accurately/cleanly - which is not surprising since Estonian is a "straight-from-text language", meaning we talk exactly like we write... if that makes any sense.

The song itself is pretty good as well.

Yea, it's noticeable. It's definitely not as heavy as some accents I've heard though. You can actually understand everything she's saying. I think if I wasn't looking for the accent, it might have taken me an extra 10 to 20 seconds to notice it.

I really like her voice, her accent doesn't bother me at all. In fact, like Necro said, I wouldn't have noticed straight away unless I was looking for it. And yeah, her pronunciation is pretty exact, especially when she sings "skyscraper".

Her voice reminds me of Alanis Morissette a little, except more sweet and delicate sounding. Song's good too.

To be fair, even I noticed the "skyscraper" part eventually, perhaps because she repeats at the end. I pronounce it the same way. Alanis Morisette comparison has been made before as well and they do sound alike.
(I also noticed that skyscraper is a poetic word, a sky scraper, makes me want to use the same phrase in Estonian. I mean, we translate "skyscrapers" into "cloud destroyers".)

Did you say
''cloud destroyers''
??

+1 respect for Estonian.
