RDR...how?

I made a private free roam match, online...and I was able to whistle for my war horse....online. My friend joined, I got him one, and then I whistled for another and another came. If I killed it, another would come. But, after that session, I had made another later after that one, I didn't have my war horse anymore, it was my online steed like before the "glitch". Is it a glitch? or did I do something to get it that everyone knows about and this is a nub question?

Happened to a number of my friends. There's a sequence you can do to glitch your Warhorse online, I can't remember it though.

It's something like start a Private Mode then switch to Public and start a game then quit out and go back to Private.

I don't know if that is it but something along those lines.

Lol I've seen that many times, it's my official guide. But where do you see War Horse online?
