RDR: Title Update

Rockstar Games announced a title update for Red Dead Redemption this morning that corrects issues with multiplayer connectivity and the Mo Van Barr bounty mission. To sweeten the deal, they're releasing the Expert Hunter and Savvy Merchant outfits plus their "related challenges" for free.

There are a couple of catches, though. First, that free stuff won't be released until later this summer. Second, because of the nature of testing and uploading patches to Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, Rockstar cannot provide a specific release date for the title update. The best they can do is advise us to keep our eyes peeled for it sometime next week.

In the meantime, here's some of the office gossip around the game to keep you entertained:

AJ: I'm going to practice Texas Hold 'Em on Facebook so I can rip more people off in Red Dead Redemption.

John: Liar's Dice is where it's at.

Tae: You could just cheat, like Andy.

John: Wear a suit, makes cheating easier.

AJ: That's the last advice I ever expected to get from a guy.

Andy: Cheating makes me feel sexy.

Aw, sweet. The multiplayer was starting to p*ss me off. Great to here that it's being fixed.

I had a hunch that they'd release the outfits as DLC.

OMG This game just keeps getting better.

That is why I gave up on news, he gets too it so fast, I don't care; he does stories better imo, + that is an extra post I get to see Asian women eat things.

As I was saying to a friend, Rockstar are never tight with their DLC. Sure TBoGT and TLaD were 1600 each but they were the same size as a game each.

God, I love Rockstar.

Read about this earlier and glad a fix is on the way though i played multiplayer for a few hours earlier with no issues. Needs to be more to do though as doing hideouts and challenges gets a little dull but hope the co-op DLC ends up good.
