Reaver quest becoming old

in the quest to deliver the dark seal where you can make the decision to become old and get good points or stay young and get some evil points, if you choose to keep the seal can you at any time reverse the effects?

Re: Reaver quest becoming old

I did this the other day - I was old with glowing eyes for a long time but when I completed the game I noticed that my eyes were back to normal and I didn't look so old anymore. Whether this just happened randomly or whether it's a bit of a perk for finishing the game, I don't know. I was just under the impression that I'd be permanently old and glowy.

Try finishing and seeing what happens - it might reverse itself a little for you too :)

Re: Reaver quest becoming old

I heard Brightwood Tower makes you younger as well as
Choosing the love ending
I did the same thing too

Re: Reaver quest becoming old

I chose the love ending too
maybe that's a reward?

Re: Reaver quest becoming old

I think so I'm currently saving up for Brightwood tower too lol

Re: Reaver quest becoming old

what love ending i just went through killing the creatures that attacked me and then went back to 'sleep' when i was told to.

Re: Reaver quest becoming old

Its the proper ending we are one about, at the end of the game you are given 3 choices

....wait...you mean when your at the farm with Rose? :ninja: you can actually stay there O.o?

I plan on saving the girl this play through, so I will be trying each of these suggestions, I hope they work. I think I will save Chesties dream for after I finish, if that's possible.

Re: Reaver quest becoming old

I have 20 potions of life, do you think that would work? How many would it take?
Thanks for all the tips, I will really miss the dog, but I just wanted to see the differences, in the game.

I would dye my hair, right away, and always have the ghoul aug, till I could fix it.

Re: Reaver quest becoming old

I had chosen the
Wealth card
and after awhile lost the glowy eyes. It could just be natural that it disappears after the game ends. Or maybe when I slept at Fairfax it went away, don't remember.

Re: Reaver quest becoming old

I believe that the glowing eyes is meant to be permanent, and that when you lose them it is a glitch, although I can't profess to knowing for certain, and the butler did mention something about the bed doing wonder for our health, or something along that line. I do know, however, that making donations at the Temple of Light seems to grant you youth as well as wisdom and experience, so that is also a potential reversal.

I saved Chesties dream for when saved the girl, and it seemed to get rid of aging and red eyes, along with a potion of life, I think it's called?

Re: Reaver quest becoming old

Here is something funny that happened to me, kinda off topic. After defeating the spire, I decided I wanted to change my looks, I decided to remove all stats from my character and start putting points back in until I had the look I wanted. Well he got smaller, yet his head stayed the same size. The will lines didn't disappear, but I did lose the muscle.

Now I had been able to remove will lines before the end of the story by removing will points and then sleeping. Now I am stuck with them. The big head thing was kinda funny but not the look I was going for! So I am wondering if anyone has noticed this after the end of the story, or is just a glitch for me?

Save and Quit your game, then reload it. If the will lines still show, go through a few loading screens, either by traveling or pub games or some other method, and they should disappear. If they persist, then you have experienced a glitch. Congratulations on your failure (joking, of course).
