Red Dead Redemption Launch Trailer

The wait is almost over and the game is almost here (sooner for you not in slow ass Europe). So Rockstar have decided to tease the people yet again and released the launch trailer for its upcoming, hugely anticipated title Red Dead Redemption.

Also for those people who are waiting for reviews after its 9.75/10 review in US mag Game Informer and 9/10 in GameTM another review has scored it 10/10 (Official PlayStation Magazine). Im not a fan of mag reviews but still they are some nice scores.

OPM praises every aspect of Rockstar's sweeping Western in its review. It applauds the 'excellent voice acting', the 'moving cinematic' and 'glorious rendering of cowboy country'.
There's also a 'perfectly pitched soundtrack' and a story with a 'unique mood' - while the ever-present side-missions leave it 'up to you and your calcified conscience how to respond'.

The only minor criticism comes with the 'slightly repetitive clusters' in which you 'protect this wagon, repel these bandits, protect this stagecoach and so on'.

But this is a teeny grumble in a four-page bonanza of triumphant noises - featuring mouth-watering art and game facts.

OPM says that decrying RDR as a re-skinned GTA 'misses the point' - because 'in terms of ambience and immersion it surpasses its forbear'.

'Once you're hooked, there's no going back,' OPM's review warns.

Indeed but the place i order from ships them early usually and almost always get them at least 1 day early (depending on damn postman). Loophole in the release laws as people who preorder have to receive them on day of release so the companies are allowed to post them 2-3 days before release (usually Tuesdays) as post can take from 1-3 days to arrive. If postal service gets its ass in gear then can sometimes receive them next day (if your lucky) or in 2 days instead of standard 3 days.

Our postman dont drive and therefore dont have to stop at stop signs so thats a bonus. :lol:

Is this just a figment of my imagination, or have I read somewhere that you can actually get the classic The Man With No Name outfit in-game?

PS3 players get an outfit and something else ( a hideout I think) free

Are you sure? It doesn't seem like they would release content for only one of them if both consoles have the version of the game. ANd I heard of a new map thing that'll come out for 360 (not sure about PS3) a month after the release. Maybe tat's the same thing. Even if we have to pay, at least gives us the option, come on.
