i just want to know why this is being compared to gta? its the same creator,yes, but its being called the "gta killer!" why? it should be compared to an RPG type game, shouldnt it?

ya but its got things like loosing honor (or losing renown like fable) and wanted posters (like AC2). theres a lot of free-roam games. why compare it to gta?

'Cause it's build around the same concept, I suppose. A bad guy who kills people and has to run away from the law... Sounds like GTA.

That's probably why.

well niko is more of a vigilante by the way. some can say hes a bad guy while he is killing actual bad guys. it does seem like this guys a vigilante aswell so i guess it makes sense to be compared. but for me it looks more like Just Cause 2

• Open world (though GTA is kind of restricted for a while)
• Gangs/Posses available
• Taking on law enforcement
• 3rd person viewpoint

Similar ideas which is why the comparison is there but they are created and presented in a different way than GTA. I originally had no interest in this title as im not all that into Westerns but its looking quite impressive i have to say. I will keep my eye on it.

Can you steal other peoples' horses in this game?

Sounds and looks like a Spaghetti Western GTA.

No but from the video i just watched you can tie people to the backs of them and drag them around and thats pretty damn cool too.

Thought this thread deserved to be revived as i recently watched lots of gameplay and developer videos about it and preordered the Limited Edition version straight afterwards. I had very little interest in a Wild West style GTA title (impression i got first of all) but after seeing the game in action im really impressed.
