In the swedish magazine Super Play they had an interwiev.

Appearently they are heavily cutting down on graphics to free more power for destruction. They have this algorithm which calculates how buildings fall apart and what parts of a wall are going to break when you hit it. Speed, power and angle has to do with it.

Seems promising.

Love destruction and really enjoyed previous Red Factions, hopefully they have learnt lessons from the past and this will be a great game. +rep
