Remember...

Remember the first time you played Fable? Emersed in a sea of greatness, jaw dropping graphics. Good or Evil, what would you choose. We first heard of the Sandgoose and all of it's mystery. Having fun by beating the crap out of the kid then beating up the bully. Next Oakvale buring, we asked ourselves what would he do. Training at the Guild. Then finally we began our quests, defeating the Wasp Queen, slaying Hobbes, and even defending Orchard Farm. But then the true test began, helping the traders across the Darkwood Forest, fending off the demonic Balverines. Barrow Fields in sight, but what is that!? A Earth Troll stood in our path. Traders ran and fled, but you stood you're ground fighting the gigantic beast. And soon you would prevail, winner of the battle and you would learn of you're bloodline and all of it's secrets. What was you're first experiance of Fable like?

Re: Remember...

Started off a bit confusing, what with all the things I could do. I had never experienced something like that before. I was surprised at how quickly I could adapt. And how cool everything was, How you never run out of arrows and how the bow works (zelda style) and weapons and just everything was so good. :)

Re: Remember...

The first time I played Fable: The Lost Chapters on the Xbox I spent pretty much most of the time running away from everything, getting stressed out and begging Steve to kill everyone for me. Oh, and getting done for smashing stuff and trespassing. Until I turned really evil, I spent a fortune in fines...

But I was pretty impressed with the graphics - and that takes a lot of doing...

Re: Remember...

I had the same feelings for Fable:TLC when I first played. My head, litterally, almost exploded. Great graphics, awesome gameplay, compelling story (for the first hour) and all around good fun.

I remember I got stuck in the "Find the Bandit Seeress" quest and gave up. Asked for some help on a fourm (not this one) and WHAM! I got sucked into the world of Fable all over again. I remember I did he Necropolis quest with my headphones ON. Usually, I did the more scarier quests with my headphones off (I get scared easily. Sucks). My Fable experience is always filled with wonder and excitement. *sigh* I wish I could re-live that part all over again.

Re: Remember...

my experians was exatly the same. so confused but amased at the incredable graphics. it was amasing. so cool

Re: Remember...

My first experience of Fable was when Andy (Dark Drakan) brought it round my house. Whereby I watched on in sheer awe as Andy introduced me to the game. I was amazed at just how well Fable was presented and at just how much detail had been implemented, even to the most seemingly-insignificant areas of the game. And of course, after the initial childhood portion of the game was over - Andy proceeded to wreak havoc in his adult stage and pretty much destroy everything he came across.

However, when I managed to get my hands on the game sometime later (which came in the forum of Fable: The Lost Chapters). Which, even though I had witnessed Andy play through before, the game still seemed remarkably new to me, which gave me an idea at just how much depth Fable :The Lost Chapters had to offer.

Long story short: my first experience with Fable was lovely.

Re: Remember...

I was all excited about Fable TLC when I got it. Until a small error message sent me into collision course with disaster.

Turned out I needed a more modern graphics card. OK I thought, I've been needing one...then I didn't have enough RAM. Okay...getting wierd, but you can't have enough RAM so I got it. Then the game started, but was choppy! Oh noes, not Fable!

So I went ahead and trashed my old(and I mean really old) slow hard drive and got a new top modern with the fastest RPM ever!...but still choppy. After nearly tearing all the hair of my body, I finally decided to check out my CPU. Oh dear, it was like 1.000.000 billion years old - invented right after the wheel.

Then I had to go on a long adventerous search for a new CPU - my motherboard is quite old and cant handle the newer CPUs, so I had to find one that was old enough, but yet speedy enough!

So then, after almost buying enough part to having almost everything but the casing replaced, and almost a month of anger and hate I finally got it working.

All in all, I have tosay it was worth it.
