Rememberance Day
I'm crap coz I should have done this waaaaay earlier, but today is Rememberance Sunday to remember the reason why we are free in this country thanks to the millions of servicemen and women who gave their lives to defend us.
Also to think about those all over the world who are in active service, risking their lives for civilians - many of them young people who haven't been in the armed forces long and are facing horrific situations every day, miles from home and having left their families and friends behind...
And those who have survived war but for whom the physical, mental and emtional scars may never fade...
Whether you agree with war or not, these people deserve our respect, thanks and admiration for doing what they do on our behalf.
