Renewed Interest In Halo Movie

With all the news and hype surrounding the upcoming Xbox 360 blockbuster Halo 3 and the big screen adaptations plans being put on hold a while ago after it was reported that both Universal Pictures and 20th Century Fox backed out of co-financing the movie to be directed by South African Neill Blomkamp. It seems that the highly acclaimed director Peter Jackson of Lord Of The Rings and King Kong fame has renewed his interest in bringing the franchise to the big screen but only if he along with Fran Walsh could get Blomkamp to agree to direct it.

I doubt they would allow the Halo name to be ruined like that, plus its Peter Jackson and the fact he wont even make it unless he gets the team he wants is a good sign he cares how it ends up.

They better not EVERY show the actor who plays master chief. EVER If he takes off his helmet in the movie, I just might explode

That was the first question that was asked when the movie was spoken about right at the start and they said they knew how vital it was to the story about not seeing his face and would work around it well. So they are aware of the story aspect of not showing his face etc.

Well at the moment it is said to be a full motion picture involving real actors.

I don't think that'd happen - just like Jason with his hockey mask, a unmasked Master Chief aint Master Chief.

damn straight...i wonder if he ever will take his helmet off though....but i CAN guess wat he looks like and wat he was like
at least when he was a kid....

here we go:

before captain keys was a captain, he was a commander, he met w/ dr.haley..i think....and they were set on a job to find suitable kids to train into becoming spartans...the first one they found...was John aka Master Chief....during his childhood, he was red headed w/ freckles, tall for his age, and very competitive and smart. they chose him, along w/ other kids.
at the facility 'Reach' they were trained here, scooled here, and lived here,
John met his teammates Sam, Kelly, Fred, and Lisa.
They didnt enjoy teamwork at first, as they didnt like eachother much. but then...they clicked together and were an amazing team.from then on...they were best friends..they trained here for a LONG time. then together they went on missions ect, and was bestowed the rank of Master Chief amongst the spartans. they WERE other spartans. but *** you know, they rest died. John lost his best friend Sam, in a ship. From then on he learned the difference between a life wasted and a life spent. then blah blah blah all them died except John. and so on.....
