Rent question

How do you collect rent? I bought the marital house in Bowerstone South and I'm renting it out, but how do I get the rent money? Do I have to go somewhere to get it or does it happen automatically?

Well, if you see a little sign in front of the house, the money should be right in front of it, ever once in a while in little money bags.
