Rescue Child (Spoilers) Quest bug?

So I've completed the game and went back to visit my family (I choose love) and as soon as I left my home (Serenity Farm), it showed that the Rescue Child quest was available. So I ported back and the wife said that she went off to the Hobbe farm to be an adventurer. So I port to the Hobbe cave, killed the Hobbes and rescued my daughter. Now the quest changes to escape from the cave. So I start following the trail and killing everything in my path. As soon as I turn around, my child is gone. She wasn't dead as there was no body and I slaughtered all the Hobbes before it even got close to us. I went through and backtracked with no sign of her. I figured it may be a slight glitch so I just contined on. I beat the Hobbes and climbed up the ladder. I'm at that Ridgerook Inn and the quest said still to escape from the Cave. If I try to port elsewhere or go back in, it says I have to reload the quest and all save information will be lost.

Any advice or is this just a glitch and I lose my daughter?

did you have a save fairly recently but b4 u went into the cave.

^ sorry mate but this quest is bugged to hell... i've tried every possible solution to finish the quest but nothing seems to work..... so it looks like until they make a patch we must mourn the loss of a child everytime you see this quest pop-up.....

yeah the same thing is happening to me so i'm guessing its just a glitch in the quest

it is different for me i just can't find my wife in the first place the trail leads me to bowerstone market but she is no where to be found any1 know where she is?

Check the dates, if they are at least a month old, don't post.
