Restricted Gold Feeding

I'm saving up for the redicilously epensive Brightwood Tower using several properties for help with obtaining vast amounts of gold but for some reason, I'm not given gold when my 360's turned off or when it sleeps. Do I need Xbox live to benefit from gold outside gametime? If not, any other ideas?

I don't think so. It does that occasionally. Just change real life time to a few months ahead then stick in Fable. You should get a lot of gold.
