Is it really necessary to own every property in Albion for this achievement? I'd buy them all regardless, but I'm curious about the achievement.

I got it after spending around 2m in houses, just keep buying them and you'll get it sooner or later I remenber I had like 80%, maybe more of the houses before getting it.

no. i got the acheivment then later found a few buildings i didnt own yet.

Just upgrade the furniture in a few of your properties and that'll help too - especially as adding Luxury furniture in exchange for Average or Worn can triple the value of your home :)
