Rumor: Gears 2 TU4 Giving Experience for Horde Mode?

Eagle-eyed forum member Amblix caught something neat while watching G4's exclusive preview of the upcoming Dark Corners DLC/All Fronts collection. At exactly 2:49 in the following video, the camera pans by a row of TV's, the one on the right showing someone playing Horde. It catches him right at the start of a new wave, with the achievement progression bar popping up in the lower right, notifying the gain of experience from the previous wave.

This is Very Cool ;
It has been some time since I played Gears 2; basically because I feel the Matchmaking is Absymal; in the sense that the Online Matchmaking is All Ranked; where in Gears 1 we could just have Fun and anybody could join at anytime; and 4 Friends were a Good Team; however; the prospect of getting 5 or 10 Friends together has been nigh impossible in my experience so far; I don't have the Snowblind Maps; and so looking at the Costing; with the Snowblind Maps; the New Maps; and the Deleted Single Player Mission; in July this will be a Great Buy ;

Horde is easily the best mode on Gears 2 so that would be very interesting if it ended up true.
