Saving a game

Hey there, I better preface this with saying I'm not really a gamer at all so I'm uncommonly ignorant as to these things. My brother just got home from Afghanistan and is looking for a place to stay, so he left his xbox and games with me to keep safe, and he suggested I play Fable III because of the great Pratchett feel too it. He told me to save it as a different game so he could keep his, but neglected to tell me how. So how do I do that?

I know that has been answered before, and I did look, but the basic assumption is that the other person has played games before and know what you all are talking about and I, to put it mildly, don't. So please help me.

All you need to do is make your own Xbox live account. Log into it on the 360. Then play the game. All your saved files will be under your account and its free to make an account, also includes a free 1 month gold membership.

Or if you don't have Wi-Fi or anything to make a free XBL account, you should just be able to make a new gamer profile (essentially same thing as free Xbox Live accounts, but completely offline).

Just go to the dashboard of the Xbox and sign out if you're not already.
Do this buy pressing the guide button (the small circle button in the center of the controller) and pressing X.
Then go back to the sign in page and there should be something somewhere to make a new Gamer Profile. Just follow its instructions and you should be able to make a new profile with minimal issues.
