Saving Saves

Is there any way we can backup our game saves using the Xbox?
What i want to do is create a new 4 new hero's, evil/good, male/female and play through each till the point the sanctuary is available (essentially cutting out the into/training). I tried copying the local HDD save to a Xbox formatted USB flash drive but it says the "content cannot be copied". Any way around this we're aware of?

Save your games in a reliable USB flash drive and then copy the saves into your computer using USBXTAFGUI. I can't say much more. Good luck saving private save.

Modio does the trick aswell, I find it that it has a better gui.

They should have given several save slots. It would have been a good soultion to all the glitches.

There are 5 save slots.
Or do you mean the ability to create a new save point as opposed to overwriting?

Sort of like Oblivion style, multiple saves per game.

I gotcha, though I've never played Oblivion. Bought it a few weeks ago but my Fable addiction keeps getting in the way.
