Saw my favorite band in concert...

I saw the greatest band ever (in my fair, non-biased opinion) live in concert tonight!

Rush

They put on an amazing show, and man those guys have a sense of humor. Apparently the creators of South Park are big fans so they did a "Lil' Rush" bit with the South Park gang dressed up like the band singing their song "Tom Sawyer" and they played it on the giant projector screens.

If you don't like Rush don't bother posting in here, if you've never heard of them you are welcome, and if you are a fan profess your undieing love for them!

(They are easily the best thing to come out of Canada since, well, ever!)

Afraid I've never heard of them. I'll definitely look into them, though. What kind of music do they play? I'd Google it, but... well, I can't really be bothered at the moment.

They're Progressive Rock, some people are turned away from them because of of that. Also their lead singer had a high pitched voice (some people find it to be a problem...) but I find that its somewhat refreshing.

Wow, that's awsome for you Brian. And damn you, you've lived out one of my dreams - go see my favourite band. Granted, it aint Rush, but it is still the same prinicple...

It's so much better when your first concert experience is amazing...gives you the gig-bug for the rest of your life....
