They are the most awsome NPC(note the singular form!!!) ever, in any game. If you've played Oblivion you might have heard the Bandits sometimes saying "Jump on my sword while you can!"? That's a homage to them, it is one of Minsc's battle cries, along with "Go for the eyes Boo, go for the eyes! YEEAAARGH!" and many more...
