SBN AND DARG.

Hello all, as you may know, I am Soldier By Name and I am a member here at ProjectEgo. I am posting this as a test run for a book, that My fellow writer Darg and I have been collaborating on, and we think it looks to be promising, so I have decided to post this as a request. I want to know if there is anyone out there who thinks that a book written about the old west, using animals as characters sounds like something you might read. Admittedly I've heard some of My friends say it sounds like a disney movie waiting to happen, but the target audience is not 7 year olds, but more of a mature reader demographic. There will be times in the book that certain throats may or may not get ripped out, and there may or may not be somethings that don't make sense. The whole premise of this book is to tell a spaghetti western through the eyes of animals that take the place of humans. It is meant to be funny here and there, and it is meant to be serious sometimes. All in all, if you are a western fan, an animal fan, or just one of the intelligent people who read Darg's fan fic "The Eye Of The Phoenix" here on ProjectEgo, I ask for your input.

Thank you everyone who voted, I will post the chapters we have, and see what you guys think of it. So far, no throats have been attacked, but we only have about four chapters, so believe me, there is still much more to come. Darg and myself are trying to get this published once it is finished, and we already have thought about doing a graphic novel, we just have to find someone to animate the story.

Put it this way - anything written by Darg is always awesome and going by the stuff you've already posted I'd say you're in the same league so between you I think we have a formidable and extremely talented writing team.

Haha thanks all. The chapters we have so far have been posted, two from Myself, two from Darg, and we'd like to see more posts over there to see what you guys think, sort of a feedback process. But thanks to everyone who voted. I knew I could count on a bunch of you.

So, overall, just me wondering, what's the general feel you guys are getting from the story thus far? Feedback's always good, whether for worse or better. Of course, we prefer the latter... but go ahead.
