Sandwiched in between the release of RPG behemoths Baldurs Gate 3 and Starfield a turn based retro style RPG launched called Sea of Stars. It was a little lost in all the news about the other titles but reviewed very well (86% Very Positive) as well as the following on Metacritic - 88% (PC), 90% (PS5), 90% (Nintendo Switch) and 88% (Xbox).
Clearly inspired by games such as Chrono Trigger/Golden Sun and the retro Final Fantasy games. It was developed by Sabotage Studio, developers of The Messenger which was published by Devolver Digital and rated 90%.
The game is available on Xbox Game Pass/ PC Game Pass and Playstation Plus subscription services as well as a demo on Steam.
