I've decided to leave on the condition that I seem to now be more of a nuisance than in any way being useful to this site. I often read posts, then illogically jump to conclusions and become aggressive. I have problems controlling anger, and I am working on trying to fix that, but when communicating through text I ignore the majority of it, and jump to conclusions as I said before. I feel as though I would eventually be banned, so I decided to skip the banning and quit now :)
I will continue to check the site for news, however I won't be making post from this point on.

Don't leave on my account. The only stupid mistake is one you don't acknowledge and address. Since you did such I hold no resent.

We all jump to conclusions at some point, thats what emotion does to you. Without it you would be a mere robot and not human, ive had my own anger and aggression ruin my life and cause problems many times so wouldnt worry about yours, just learn from your mistakes and you will better yourself.

You wouldnt have been banned for a mere misunderstanding or misreading a situation as it happens to the best of us. :lol:

maybe i speak for everyone when i want you to stay. you shouldnt leave because of a feeling you have about the people here. you are accepted for who you are, unless you are a bandit

Whenever any one leaves, I always feel both sad and angry. I mean I've had problems on this forum before. But no matter how hard things got for me or anyone around me, I never wanted to leave. It's like a little family we have going here, and just because you get a little angry now and then doesn't mean we're going to hate you for it.
As no one's addressed you, it seems, nor given you any warnings. I don't see why you think you're going to get banned.

I see no point in leaving, I don't see anyone else here finding you to be a nuisance either, so why leave? It was just a misunderstanding in the other thread that just got out of hand, so just put it behind you and continue enjoying the forums, we like having you here.

But seriously Solus, although you did lash out, you did so in defense of the forums! This shows you only had good intentions and you were trying to help your friends against some "intruder" as it seemed.
That can only be a good thing if you ask me.;)

I don't reckon you're anywhere as close to getting banned as ou may think!:lol:

I haven't noticed you being reactionary more than the rest of us humans :alien:

Everyone has a certain laps time between stimulus and response. I can only grow with time . I think it's a huge step in recognizing that you want to improve that time so that you aren't as reactionary. By focusing on that space between stimulus and response it will grow.

One effective technique is playing back a time that you reacted in a way that you wished you hadn't and mentally choosing a different response. Actually imagine yourself saying or doing something different. It may seem like dwelling on the past, but it is actually restructuring your reactions more to your liking.

I can't think of a better place to work on that then on a forum where you can actually go back and edit your reactions. Would that it was possible to do that in other areas in life :sigh:

I don't see why you wouldn't be. We may not always agree, =] but that doesn't mean you're not part of the family. :cool:
