SEGA Megadrive/Genesis Games coming to Steam

From the first of June, a variety of classic SEGA Megadrive games will be available via Steam. The retro games will sell for US$2.99 apiece on Valve's digital download service, and the Japanese developer plans to release a multitude of 'evergreen' titles from the SEGA vaults in the months and years ahead.

Yes, in just a week's time, PC gamers will be able to enjoy the gnome-kicking action of Golden Axe, the brain-bending difficulty of Comix Zone, and the eco-fruitiness of Ecco the Dolphin via the magic of emulation.

The first batch of games will consist of:

• Comix Zone
  Altered Beast
  Crack Down
  Gain Ground
  Ecco the Dolphin
  Shadow Dancer: the Secret of Shinobi
  Golden Axe
  Sonic 3D Blast
  Vectorman
  Shinobi III
  Space Harrier II
