Selecting the People over Elise/Elliot [SPOILERS}

Does anyone know what happens if you choose to kill Elise / Elliot instead of the people? A bonus later on or something?

No, I don't think it makes any difference.

I killed Elliot in my first playthrough and I don't recall any reward, etc.

I don't think that an event that happens in the first three minutes of the game is exactly a spoiler. And he didn't give awayany info to begin with.

I chose the people. I am trying to go the righteous route. Either way I did not think she would stick around for long had I chosen to save her because I proved to be selfish.
