1. Pick a Starter.
2. Battle Random Trainers in Retarded Costumes.
3. Go get gym badages.
4. Stop Some Retarded Evil Plot that envolves legendary pokaymons.
5. Elite Four.
6. ?????
7. PROFIT

If you ask me, they should turn of the Unimaginative Pokemon Factory™ stop churning out loveless abominations. You can't beat the original 150 ones, so why bother. And the only thing that kept Red/Blue back in this modern age is the craptacular graphics.

If they remade Red/Blue even I would buy it.

I bought Pokemon Platinum for my DS about 2 months ago and I was excited but the games just don't keep my attention like they used to. Maybe it's because I'm not 13 years old anymore? But damn, what a bummer!

You left out the bit with the rival, but that's how every game goes, with the exception of yellow where you don't really get to pick a starter.

Yeah, in the special edition, they remove content.

Pokemon was the shiz back when I was a kid. The game anyway, the cartoon has always been a bag of poo. Then again, every game after Red/Blue and Stadium just seemed a bit rubbish.

I play LeafGreen in the GBA slot of my DS - the beauty is if you play Diamond/Pearl, you can 'PalPark' LG/FR only Pokemon over into your game.
Which is great if your like me and are trying to complete your Pokedex

I'm actually really looking forward to Gold.
I thought when I got rid of my Trading Cards and put my Gameboy Color to rest I wouldn't look at Pokemon again.
But when I got Pearl, my love was reignited.
I'm glad they still have the silly pixelated graphics :3
The spin-offs, however, haven't been so hot in my opinion.
