shopkeeper wont respon?? cant continue game

ok so im at the beginning of the game where your supposed to buy the facial hair and tattoos,well i bought the items then killed the shopkeeper,turned out i never received the items i bought and now i cant continue,iv slept and waited tons and he is not returning...whats going on?

Hmm ran across this in another forums. Their suggestion was to buy all the houses in the location u lost your shop keep, evict em, then rent them out again. Keep in mind though I never saw if anyone was able to get their missing npcs back with this method. But worth a shot.

(edit) Crap re-read your post. You can't buy houses. You might be outta luck there then.

just tried evicting every1 and renting out again,did not work....there has got to be something,do they not respawn normally?

They do, but a few folk have run into a bug were they don't respawn. Just one of the many bugs in fable 3 unfortunately :'(
Your able to buy houses after the second gate on the road to rule? I keep thinking it was the 3rd...or was the shops..oh well
