Should I age myself?

I'm at the part where I have to decide whether I should age myself or not, but I can't decide. My character is good, but I don't like the fact that you age yourself.

I've also read that there are ways you can make yourself look younger again, but none of these went into details (one was about the Brightwood tower quest, the other was about donating to the temple of light).

So, any suggestions, I'd prefer not to age the girl, but if I'm stuck looking old I'll just give it to her and then blast her off the edge.

Well, if you're really obsessive about having your 'good' character make every 'good' choice (like me ), then I'd age yourself, then do the Brightwood Tower quest (just check your quests, it'll tell you what to do, and it should still be available after you get out of the Shadow Court).

If not, just give the seal to the girl, and earn the good points back with a few donations to the Temple of Light or a few Slave Rescue quests.

Re: Should I age myself?

I let them age me, and was stuck looking like Demon Grandma until the end of the main quest (not long after that). Then I went and donated 10,000 gold to the temple of light - I think if you do it at noon ("when the light is brightest") you get better rewards for it. Anyway, once you've made your donation you just go to another region, and your character will reload looking young and purty again.

I'm not sure if 10,000 is a necessary amount - I've heard of people donating far more than that - but it worked for me. On the other hand, that character had pretty high purity already, which may be a factor in making you look younger.

Never tried the Brightwood Tower method, but I'm curious - I hear it revolves around sleeping there. Do you have to actually buy the tower to regain your youth, or will just sneaking in and having a kip in Garth's bed do the trick? ;)

Re: Should I age myself?

From what I've read you have to buy the locations after the Main Quest, which sparks a quest where you sleep in the tower and are transported to another dreamworld.

Re: Should I age myself?

If your fully good, sacrificing her will not do any noticable harm to your alignment. Pluss, nobody will ever know that you did it. :shifty: I say just age her.

Age yourself. You will look much cooler.

That's pretty much the gist of it, but after you buy it, a ladder appears at the highest point you can go to in the tower before buying it. You climb up it, and there's a special bed there that takes you to that weird dream world. Once there, you're transformed back into a kid (temporarily), but you still have all your stats, spells, and weapons. You then have to fight your way through the dream world, and you get 100,000 gold and a diamond that is worth 100,000 gold (I'd recommend selling the diamond to a gift trader in Fairfax Gardens, you'll get a few thousand more gold for it).

And pay no attention to Daemon  You won't look cooler

Re: Should I age myself?

You will, you will have these cool red looking eyes. I didn't see a difference except for the eyes ;]

Re: Should I age myself?

For some reason, on my brother's file, even after doing the Brightwood Tower quest and sleeping in Fairfax Castle, he still had red eyes inside of his head. (You can sorta see through your character if you angle the camera against a wall.)

I went ahead and aged myself about an half an hour after I posted this, and have already finished the campaign and have started a new char.
