Should I?

iv been toying with the idea for a while now, but never gotten around to it, and its been tempting me for a while, should i get my ears peirced? what do you think?

Get them gauged.
Thats what I'm doing as soon as I leave the job I'm at now (have to cover up tats, wear hairnets/hats and no piercings.

no thanks, never been a big fan of gauging. just a simple little hole with a ring or something for me. gauge is that when you get a big hole that you can enlarge right?

they closed up? that sucks. thats why you need to keep somthin in there. + 1 attractivness eh? sold. i need all the atractiveness i can get.

Sort of. Its not a BIG hole, there are different sizes. The smaller the gauge size the bigger the hole. I was thinking of getting a size 4 or maybe a 2. Right now I think Im at a size 12 and I'm about to force in a size 10 in my ear. I forced my lip ring into my ear piercing (my lip ring is a 12).

hhhmmmm..... mabey we are actually talking about the same thing. i just want a little hole. i thought gauging was when you have like a big hole, like as big as a pencil is round. and some people keep getting them bigger and bigger. there was a kid at my school that had huge thick metal disks in his ears. like half and inch thick, and about as big as a quater, mabey bigger. if thats what your talking about then no no no. but a permanent little hole, yes. i dont know how the size thing works.

Yeah. The size of a pencil is probably a size 00.
My friend had a huge hole in his ears. They were a size 7/8 I think.

ah i see. kinda confusing. i guess im talking about somthing between a 14 and 10ga. 10 is bigger than 14? i think my brain just peed itself.

edit: k i just looked at a ring my cousin left here. its a 14. that looks like what i want. either a 14 or 12. no bigger than that.
