sig/avatar help

ok so i think i got it uploaded ok? but i dont know the difference between a sig and avatar, i want the image under all my posts ive noticed del and urahara both have one.

this is my trial image, want to know if its also the correct size?

That's way to big, if you want more then just your face in the picture you should take something where you are further from the camera, like with the timer settings, if you want it stylized you could probably ask in the graphics request shop.

A good sig would probably be somewhere around 300 pixels in height and 500 wide.

yeah thats way to big. I think that image would make a better avatar than a sig, seeing as how its not all that wide. shrink it down though. or you could get someone to style it a bit for you (not me, Im no good with that sort of thing).

An avatar is is the little image under your name (my avatar is the crazy eye eclipse thing. Floyd fans will know it) and a sig is a little signature with images, words, etc that goes underneath every post you make (Clapton is God, etc for me).

That is definitely too big. I would probably cut out the body or use a different picture. I'm sure you could ask around in the graphics request shop. Sephiroxas is pretty much the queen of photoshop around here. I'm sure she would be more than happy to sort something out for you.

You are Beautiful; and it seems a Shame to not use your picture if you don't want to; and you have hidden the photograph in a Spoiler so I don't see the problem


Edit:

Our friend hexen harlot has a Signature of 600x351; so I have cut your photograph down to 500x351; and so it should now be Acceptable; here it is;

I dunno, I felt helpful, also I had long sigs, anyway this took like 10 seconds.

yeah thanks guys i think i will use it as an avatar and get a smaller one for a sig also this isnt me but my gf haha and i hid her in a spoiler so she didnt take up the whole page incase she was huge haha (yes i did refer to the photo as a her)
