They can offer me the whole Origin library of games for free. I won't support them.

As much as Origin blows, I couldn't really avoid a deal like that especially when it's my favorite Sims game next to Sims 1 & Bustin Out. So I managed to nab it before it went out, no dime spent, no harm done I say.

Got this myself, too. My favourite Sims game to date. Not a massive user of Origin but it was too hard to pass up. My lappy can't play it...stupid Intel HD pieceofwhatsit...So, I've been playing it on Scotty's laptop and having lots of fun.

Just be wary of the SecuROM in it that I've been hearing about.

Thanks, I hadn't even heard about that. Told Scott about it and found a guide online for him to remove it. Damn EA. I guess there really is no such thing as freedom for them.

Not overly difficult to remove but still a bit of a pain.

Still? I thought they had gotten rid of that mess ages ago. I'll mess about and purge my system of it when I get more of an opportunity to sit down with it.

Maybe they did but for older titles it remains, not entirely sure but I did see quite the commotion about it on some forums.
