hey. the singing sword is real. When you read about the better bard's riddles, think outside the box!!! i did and i found a secret in the knothole glade. look closely at the trees and there is a slightly taller one. dig under that one

you know how you can enter the tavern celler in bowerstone when the statue in lookout point is pointing to bowerstone? well, the better bard says that u need to drink some ice cold beer to see the secret path. u also need to use your stick in some place remember? well, the tavern celler have liek...loads of beer in crates. maybe you need to get kind of drunk in the celler so that patch in the wall u can walk through??? maybe something will be there??? that would be worth a try huh? =]

There is no singing sword at all. Being a modder, I have been through the game files. No such sword, nor secret exists. The better bard person was fooling everyone.

regardless of whether the steps to obtain the Singing Sword are in the game or not, the Sword itself is not... so the search for it is futile at best...
there is nothing in the code that could possibly be the sword... really, it's not there...
