ok guys... just today..i got the bow.. and none of that.. WAIT TILL MIDNIGHT crap is valid... just simply sacrifice all the henchmen. i did in this order.. bowerstone south bar henchmen. then the ones at oakvale and twinblades camp.. did those in one trip.. and then the one at temple of avo. you can only have two folow you at a time.. and always recall to temple of skorm if you are getting two.. so you can get one.. recall. then get the other.. and remember.. SAVE YOUR GAME just in case it doesnt work for you. email me or post for questions.. dont email comments..

I don't think anything is valid. I've brought more than 30 people to be sacrificed before and it never worked for me.

There's no trick, some just get lucky. Though, any real valid part would be that the more of the opposite morality you are, tends to be easier. But aside that, you got lucky, and unless you did it again a few more times over, then I'd say its valid.

i got it on one sacrifice. i went to the temple of avo and donated more money than im willing to disclose, and got my good rating to max. then i picked up one of the good mercs, and sacrificed him at midnight. instant skorms bow.

yea.. i did have a halo.. damn butterflies kept peeing on me too.. although it is soo easy to mary as a good hero.. but i guess thats why evil ones are so "horny" lol anyway.. im a tottaly retard cause i dug up the pan b4 i got all the clues.. any suggestions?

If you want it to have all the aug slots you'll either have to:

1. Go back to a previous save
2. make a new game and be patient this time
3. modify the code

It's not that great of a weapon so I wouldn't bother unless you just want to do it for sake of doing it.

Though beating someone with a pan has its novelty moments.

And as noise proved, being more "moral" will allow a higher chance, but not too high, so don't expect big.

Just to add to what visual.noise said: the stronger your good alignment is, the better your chances of obtaining Skorm's Bow increases dramatically. My wife actually spent a ton of hours trying to get her mitts on Skorm's Bow but to no avail - this was down to her having an evil alignment. However, on her 'good' profile, she was granted Skorm's Bow within the first two or three attempts.

While it may be possible to explain it away as a fluke, it's considered a fact among the various Fable communities that the higher your 'good' alignment - the better your chances.

There are apparently other factors which enter the whole thing such as the time of day and which NPCs you sacrifice and such, but as a general rule you can't go wrong with the whole good alignment business when pursuing Skorm's Bow.

Yeah having a good alignment helps, plus if you just sacrifice the henchmen from the Temple of Avo, over and over again, I lost count, you'll get lots of evil points and Skorms Bow.

What you are saying, however, didn't work for me, so I just did it another way, which I think worked a lot better.

yea, i guess the bow is random, but seriously, would lionhead really make it where youhad to sacrifice at midnight? i mean.. someone stumbling on the darkbow by accident is like seeing someone get killed by a microscopic meteorite... its tottaly random rare and a bit creepy.. i guess thats skorm for ya =P

Simply do this:

1. Be good. only the first section good bar this way you wouldnt be too good for bandits to hate you and not evil which needs more accuracy at midnight.

2. get some elite bandits. (The ones who wear mostly red). get them to follow you. bring them to the Temple of Skorm.

3. mak sure to sleep on the sleeping bag thing somewhere in the abandoned path/road so it is night time.

4. if you kill only the most annoying enemies (Balverines,Nymphs) who conintuesly attack you, you should be able to reach the temple just before midnight.

5. wait till its (near) midnight and start sacrificing. if you hear "gratitude" or something you did it...

a few points:

* Not to good. one section. too good=no bandits following

*Make sure that if you kill one of the bandits the other ones dont see you doing it. they'll lose trust

*The closer to midnight the better.

*always run

*waking up at night in the abandoned road with the bandits already following you should be long enough for you to get there a minute or two before midnight

* the closer to midnight the better

* Bandits must be very close to you or at least be able to be seen by you to come with you to the next area.

I got the henchmen from oakvale and twinblades camp. I sacrificed one of them when night was almost over and I got it on the first try. I only had to sacrificce one of them too. U get 1000 bad points though.

i have already sacrificed all the mercs and now i can't find them any where.

(by the way does anyone think the fact that i am playing the downloaded version on the 360 might have anthing to do with this and my missing wives?)

In all of my games that I have played through (xbox) I have always gotten it after I accrue 850 evil points.

I sacrificed the henchman from oakvale (the Good thin dude) and got the bow in one try when i was already partly evil

I think he made this up... You need to wait unil midnight, make the Chapel of Skorm your recall point, teleport to Bowerstone and grab the mercenary there. (He's the cheapest. 10 gold instead of the 20-40 for the other ones.) and teleport to the chapel of Skorm. He MUST BE 100% HITPOINTS! When you get there, wait until midnight. (The white dot on night opposite of the sun, that's 12:00 PM. Sacrifice at midnight and I've always gotten it on my first try, fully evil, fully good, AND neutral. You should save it, just in case though.

Tip: Standing in the Chapel waiting for midnight takes FOREVER. Luckily, there's a blackjack table in the region next to it, there's no enemies between the chapel of Skorm and the camp. Blackjack's a fun and simple game, and no risk of losing money if you only bet one gold. Unless you're feeling lucky...

EDIT & TIP 2: Do NOT sacrifice townspeople! (Unless you want the extra 40 evil points...) He just tells you that the 'Pittance is of little use' for some reason. I've NEVER gotten Skorm's Bow from a townsperson, and I've tried many, many, many times. Never tried with a bandit though...
