Skype

Something seems to be wrong with mine.

I went on and saw that 'My computer is running too slow to make calls.' I followed the instructions, closing all other applications to make it run faster, but to no result. The laptop's charging currently, does that change the performance? Can anyone halp?

Would you be able to post your system specs? ie: amount of RAM/memory, name of processor, operating system, etc?

Try restarting your computer, and when you first log back into Windows, immediately load up Skype and attempt to make a call. If you succeed, then it may very well be a memory issue (that's just my novice opinion though).

by not owning a webcam or having enough interest to ever download skype, i have to say the program has never given me any problems. you should try doing that.

I have both Skype and Msn (I'm like a crossbreed), but some people I know are only on Skype. So cheers for those comments, guys

And Steve, tried that, didn't work . Thanks for the idea anyway.
