CVG have had a 3 hour hands on with Bethesdas latest title in the epic Elder Scrolls series Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and you can read it in full here (click logo). Minor spoilers in link so read at own risk...

Three-hours of playing time on Skyrim equates to being allowed to watch the opening cut-scene of most other games. It's a drop in the ocean - and a miniscule one at that. In that time, while we managed to juggle magic and weapons, navigate a dungeon, join a clique of warriors and sort out the trouble facing a romantic triangle, we know we've barely scratched Skyrim's gargantuan surface.

EDIT

IGN also had a 3 hour hands on too (click logo)...

Grr... I want to read it, but I don't want to spoil anymore than I've already experienced over the months. I feel I know more in advance about the game than I probably should.

Theres info about the introduction thats mostly common knowledge and some minor details about very early quests and NPC names but nothing major. Quote from IGN...

After three hours in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim I haven't talked to a single non-player character. I've accepted no quests, engaged in no conversations and learned nothing about what's going on in the world. I know I'm missing out on what could very well be a lot of interesting content – the guild quests, the main storyline, the rewards that come with completing tasks handed out by those in town – but at the moment I don't care. Exploring the world on my own proves to be more than enough to keep me entertained.

So they cant spoil that much as they have barely done anything.

Oh? Well in that case I suppose I'll take a little peek.

In a game with so much content these minor details about side quests will likely be forgotten by the time you touch the game anyway.

Heh, this is true.

Just finished the CVG preview, twas a nice read, but couldn't help but skip over a few of the minor spoilers. :P Saw there were some new screens as well including one of an assassin kill, really hoping the stealth won't disappoint in this game.

Will check out the IGN one in a little bit.

The stealth has got to be better than in previous games with the execution kills alone being included. Always thought they were really missed from past games and sneaking up on enemies and attacking them should have been rewarded more than by a mere damage bonus.

EDIT

For those that dont want to read spoilers but want to see some action here are a handful of new screenshots from the game too...
