Bethesda has just released a new screenshot of a Dunmer Thief (Dark Elf) today on their Facebook page. Chosen by the community, it would appear as though this new design of the Dunmer harkens back to the days of Morrowind & Daggerfall with a clear improvement over Oblivion's take. You can check out the full screenshot down below by clicking on the thumbnail...

Silly Dark Elf, Skyrim is all about the Nords!

Dunmer > Nords

I much prefer that look than the one from Oblivion.

No way in the world someone could ever take this seriously...

... and that's his serious face.

^ yeah, it's unfortunate how every class except maybe the argonian or the orc ended up looking like an aristocrat.

I agree totally.

You wish! Besides, you're on Nord turf now pointy ears.

Redayn (Morrowind) was the only region Tiber Septim couldn't conquer by force, and he couldn't have conquered the rest of the empire without the Dunmer's help.

Therefore: Dunmer > Nords.

I have to say i like the look of his weapons.

Looks great, The dark elves were one of the easiest races to make look half decent though in Oblivion.

Sorta looks like he is about to sneeze real bad....
