Rather late on this one, but Bethesda have released a new trailer showcasing comparisons of a handful of Skyrim's concept art with the in-game rendering. The end result is some new footage of scenery, enemies, and a look at a member of the Dark Brotherhood (player character). The video is also accompanied by a beautiful track from veteran game/film composer Jeremy Soule (who also composed Oblivion's soundtrack).

Haaaa, two more weeks, can't wait. This is going to be the best game ever..

All's well that ends well.

Just look at that Assassin garb, you ever notice most games never make a 'cool' set of clothing? It's always 'Brown leather suit', I'm worried though because in Oblivion they took out chain mail skirts and in Skyrim apparently the body and legs of armour are now one piece. I like mix matching and making my own styles up.

So long as they all look good together then it shouldnt be to much of a problem.

Yeah id imagine so, it was when you had a really cool looking top half and then a generic brown pauper looking bottom in other games that it became annoying to have to have 'suit sets'.
That's how I am, I'll sacrifice wielding or wearing powerful items on my character simply because they don't look nice. This is also why the first couple of hours playing this game will be solely in character creation XD

Yeah in a role playing game you have to actually like the look of the character you are playing otherwise you cant identify with the role.

Exactly, since RPG's are traditionally singleplayer the best ones are always the ones with the most customization.

Tod Howard, He got you covered brah. But yeh this trailer is , wow... to say the least. Shows you how much work they have to do to achieve one set piece. If every dungeon is different like Tod says we should be for one hell of a TES.

Footage of the first 20-mins of Skyrim (the final build) was leaked and I don't know if this applies to all armor/clothing, but the ones that were shown which was imperial armor, settler rags, etc. had interchangeable parts all over. The gauntlets, greaves, boots, tops, bottoms, and headgear were all separate from each other as opposed to the early build where everything was all one full outfit.

Ohh okay, I know they also mentioned the menu was not in its final build so that makes alot of sense then. Even though the menu looked great! Apparently it is inspired by the user friendly menu of itunes.
