After Scott posted about Modders finding the files for Morrowind & Cyrodiil in Skyrim just under a year ago certain gamers have been looking into what it might mean for the game in the future. It seems that question could soon be answered in one way or another as its been hinted in the game files after a recent update that the new DLC could be headed back to there. More specifically the DLC could be headed back to Solstheim which appeared in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind's Bloodmoon expansion. Not only that but it could feature mounted dragons which people have been wanting since the games release.

Ohpleaseohpleaseohpleaseohpleaseohplease let this be true......

Im betting the Dragon flight will be restricted to a point if it does indeed happen and if it does its something that will have likely been worked on for some time. Maybe it will only be able to be used in the new area Solstheim (if it ends up there too). If they simply lowered the draw distance to objects that need to be seen from a height then that could help with load times, pop up and frame rate slowdown. Its normally the build up of items in the game world that dont clear straight away and create memory cache that causes the slowdown at least the new area(s) wont have been visited yet so wont risk that straight away. Just PS3 owners that may have to worry as even Dawnguard isnt running right on PS3 yet and has no release date even whispered yet so the likelihood of this coming to PS3 anytime soon is slim.

Very glad to hear, new locations to explore is always a plus and hope we get a lot more spells this time.. the ones from Dawnguard were pretty poor. There's already dragon mounts on the PC (via mods) but it's really buggy, so it'll be nice to finally have a nice polished version from Beth. But I'm curious as to how it would work, my only guess would be a new command to make your dragon companion land for you... or maybe we can manipulate enemy dragons temporarily for mounting.

I want more content, that's all I care about. Like Drakan said, Dawnguard seriously lacked usuable content albeit the crossbows were cool.

The concept of dragon-mounts is nice, but it seems so unlikely. But one can still hope.

I liked the sound of them and they packed a punch but werent good enough to make me use them over my current favourite weapons. I want some new items that are going to make me change my armour (though I dont have the best mine is useful) & my weapons/spells etc as ive been using the same for what seems like forever.

I did too, and I also didn't use them much. The novelty wore thin pretty quickly. Along with other things in the DLC.

It's strange, Hearthfire was such a tiny DLC in terms of content, but I felt it added so much to the game.

I liked the new Vampire form and making it actually useful, also liked the new perk tree for it and the new follower but thats all I use from it really.

Loved the new follower and how deep she is (... not like that), but it seemed ridiculous that Bethesda would make her very romantic towards the player with so many teases and hints only for you to find out she can't be married... ever. That was pretty ****ty.

But I quite enjoyed the new dungeons and sidequests that were littered about Skyrim from Dawnguard, and the new creatures/dragons weren't bad either. But I will admit.. for $20, not sure that price was truly justifiable.

Yeah that sucks you cant marry her, 2 vampires married and wreaking havoc for centuries could have been great.

They don't give a f***, that's the truth. Most of the userbase is on the Xbox 360 and the PC anyway.

Doesnt look good on them though and they have stated its their fault and no-one elses and I dont imagine they will want to be seen to not be bothered about a particular platform. Alienating a platform userbase wouldnt be smart from a business standpoint and Bethesda know this. However the userbase for Bethesda titles will always be heavily sided towards Microsoft id imagine but not so much Bethesdas fault for what their fans choose to play their titles on. Im sure if Skyrim would have been equally as good on PS3 as 360 it would have still outsold the PS3 version massively on both PC and 360. Some games just have that balance of users, just a shame Bethesda have really struggled with development on PS3 (like some other developers too).

Saying it's your fault doesn't mean it's going to fix itself. If they wouldn't give a f*** towards their PlayStation playerbase they could have avoided releasing the game for that platform in the first place.

They are embarrassed about it and have been trying to fix it since the issue came up but no fix has fully worked for everyone so far. Its a route that a couple of developers have gone down worryingly for Sony and one they wont want many doing by not releasing games for their platforms.
